We constructed our homepage in an organic manner. Our goal is that it lives by itself and that you can form its content. This is easy to say for sites like Facebook, but Global Emotion is a normal business and so we tried to empower certain areas by using these Web 2.0 tools.

We are connected with following communities (and vice versa):

 

1. LinkedIn (Biggest b2b-Platform of the worlD)

Hosts our group" Science meets Business", which shall increase the discussions between scientists and applicants (includes all our documents via a SlideShare application)

2. Xing (biggest b2b portal in Europe)

Since Global Emotion is mostly active in Europe at this point of time, we use Xing to stay in touch with our customers, partners and friends. Via "news from the network" and "status report" we exchange news with each other (includes all our documents via a SlideShare application)

3. Facebook
Biggest Peer2Peer Community. Has a very personal touch. Here you get to know the person behind an enterprise. Facebook also hosts our fanpage (includes a gateway to Twitter and SlideShare).

4. Twitter

The shooting star of Web 2.0 with its SMS 2.0 function. Easy to use, for free, and exchanges news faster than any other medium.

5. SlideShare
The PPP, PDF and document community. SlideShare hosts all our public documents. Via a gateway to YouTube you can also find our public videos here. Slideshare is also embedded in Facebook Xing and LInkedIn. This allows us to upload our documents only once. SlideShare diseminates them for us :)

6. YouTube

The most popular video portal. All public videos can be found on YouTube. Due to its collaboration with Google and its implementation in all smartphones, youtube allows us to access a lot of customers via its channels.
